2026 LPAA Scholarship Winners

The Liberty-Perry Alumni Association (LPAA) is most proud to announce the winners of the 2026 LPAA Scholarships, to the following Wapahani High School seniors.

The 2026 Alyssa Anne Couch Scholarship winner is Mackenzie Brannon, daughter of Chris and Kim Brannon.  Mackenzie will be studying Radiologic Technology prerequisites at Ball State University. She wishes to then extend her education in Radiology to include Mammography, CT Scan, MRI and/or Ultrasound Scanning.  Mackenzie cares about helping people and wants to be part of a team that makes a difference in a patient’s health.

The 2026 Selma Bluebirds Memorial Scholarship winner is Brogan Long, son of Rob and Amy Long.  Brogan will be attending Purdue University to study Pharmaceutical Sciences.  Brogan is interested in how medicine works and how it impacts peoples lives. Brogan would like to become a Pharmacist or work in drug development. Ultimately, Brogan like to use his education to create opportunities for himself and make a positive impact on the community he serves.

The 2026 Wapahani Alumni Scholarship winner is Khloe Sipes, daughter of Willie and Kendra Sipes.  Zoey will be attending Ball State University to study Psychology.  Zoey has high hopes of becoming a Pediatric Psychologist.  Zoey wants to be able to help children and better their growth and behavior.

The 2026 Laycie Marie Chambers Memorial Scholarship first of two co-winners is Zoey Koger, daughter of Dustin and Heather Koger.  Zoey will be studying Kinesiology Exercise Science at either Purdue University or the University of Southern Indiana, yet TBD.  Zoey would like to ultimately become an Athletic trainer for High School or College Sports.

The 2026 Laycie Marie Chambers Memorial Scholarship second of two co-winners is Mackenzie Brannon, daughter of Chris and Kim Brannon.  Mackenzie will be studying Radiologic Technology prerequisites at Ball State University. She wishes to then extend her education in Radiology to include Mammography, CT Scan, MRI and/or Ultrasound Scanning.  Mackenzie cares about helping people and wants to be part of a team, that makes a difference in a patient’s health.

The  2026 Inaugural Mary Ann Beouy Memorial Scholarship winner is Oliva Walters, daughter of Tom and Anette Walters.  Olivia will be attending Ball State University to obtain an undergraduate degree in Biology, (as did Mary Ann Beouy) then apply to get a Master’s degree, to become a certified Anesthesiologist Assistant. Olivia wishes to become part of an Anesthesia care team in a hospital setting, supporting patients and contribute to their well-being.

The LPAA wishes to sincerely congratulate Mackenzie, Brogan, Khloe, Zoey and Olivia!  The LPAA hopes you will all do well, in their life careers. Best of luck to you all!
