Who We Are

Established January, 2008 in Selma, Indiana. Initially, as the Wapahani Alumni Association.  Amended by vote to be Liberty-Perry Alumni Association to include alumni from our parent schools Selma High School and Center High School on September 3, 2009.

Our Mission

To give our Liberty-Perry alumni a connection to their schools and community; to rekindle the spirit of school pride through events and projects; to preserve school history through displays that educate; to give back to the school through scholarships; to promote unity and fellowship among all alumni.

Who may join LPAA?

Anyone who attended or graduated from Liberty-Perry schools – Wapahani High School, Selma High School, or Center High School.  Any former, retired or current teacher/staff of Liberty-Perry schools.

Monthly Board/Membership Meetings

Second Monday of each Month @ 6:30 p.m. at the Selma Lions Club building, Selma, IN.  Occasionally, changed or canceled due to weather, conflicts, or illness.

501(c)(3) Status

The IRS has determined that LPAA is exempt from federal income tax under Internal Revenue Code (IRC) Section 501(c)(3) Donors can deduct contributions under IRC Section 170.  We are also qualified to receive tax deductible bequests, devises, transfers or gifts under Section 2055, 2106, or 2522.  Monetary contributions made to LPAA are tax-deductible.  We are a public charity under IRC section 509(a)(2).
